Sligo boasts two beautiful beaches; one at Strandhill, and the other at Rosses Point. The two strands sit on either side of the entrance to Sligo Harbour, which was once one of the busiest ports in Ireland. Today Rosses Point is home to several important recreational facilities including the County Sligo Golf Club, the Sligo Yacht Club, of course, the strand at Rosses Point, one of the most beautiful beaches in Ireland. For more informqation about Rosses Point, visit their great website by clicking here.
